This book was one of the first my child was interested in. Babies love the contrasting pictures and colors of this book. The next few spreads are words related to different activities and are basically fine -- though I'm not sure how much kids will understand the verbs (especially when "Mealtime" had a "sippy cup" and a "bottle" and then a picture of a kid drinking from a sippy cup labeled "drink"). Also, I feel that putting "fork and spoon" in a single photo makes it hard to teach them as distinct nouns. This high-frequency words activity book includes look, cover and write sections and fill in the missing word activities. At the end of each section, children are also encouraged to write their own sentences using the words they have learned to really emphasis learning on the topic.
