Anyway, I’m feeling healthy for the first time in ages so I’m looking forward to lighter evenings and cold sunny morning rides. 👍🏻 Built last night for a wet first ride today (thanks to the @pedalsbikecare team for a last minute steerer cut yesterday!). Featuring 12spd SLX, XTR hubs on WTB rims with @vittoriauk_tyres Syerra tyres. PNW Rainier dropper and some Hope bits and my trusty @wearepinnd CS2 Ti pedals. The build quality is fantastic, and I fully expect it to last for years. I’ve carried some truly daft things in my other Chrome bags, including entire bikes, and the Chrome Kadet looks like it could take similar punishment. If it does fail though, it’s good to know that it is covered by a lifetime warranty.For example, it was perfect for carrying the basics like a phone, wallet, passport, etc. while exploring cities as you would expect (all of Chrome's bags are designed for city life). But the Kadet was also the perfect size for carrying all of the things we needed for beach/boat days in Mexico as well (sunscreen, a rash guard, surf wax, and more). The Stash is among the more expensive bags in our review. However, if you're looking for a bombproof messenger bag that is extremely weather-resistant all around — and has a waterproof laptop sleeve — then this bag is likely worth the high price. The quality construction and fabric, coupled with the impressive design, will pay for themselves as you continue to use this bag for years to come.
