NOTE: The Dell C3422WE monitor is very heavy; handle with extreme care. It is recommended to have two people to lift or move this monitor. The former is for when you’re listening to general stuff like music, movies, and etc. The latter, however, is optimized for video conference calls. That’s right, when in a call, it’s better to use the echo cancelling speakerphone as it does reduces echo, and the mids are higher to accentuate vocals. And that’s essential because you’d need to hear what the person is saying, right? User Experience
Two good alternatives come from Dell itself. The Ultrasharp U3421WE has even better image quality and even more ports at a similar price. It's also a great monitor for professionals who need the best color accuracy possible. Now moving into the audio department, yes, the Dell C3422WE monitor has a pair of 5W stereo speakers that plays audio from your PC/laptop. I was impressed at how loud the volume can get actually, which is great for video conferences and even watching movies. But despite the loud volume, some distortion can be heard when you’re past the 60% mark, so the sweet spot would be at 50% for me. CAUTION:The Dell C3422WE setup must comply with the recommended panel orientation and working angle only. Setting up the monitor in an orientation that is not recommended may damage the monitor and/or cause a safety hazard.
