About this deal

Although it is a V-shape sounding headphone, it is quite aggressive in presenting the details. Everything sounded quite the way it should, not neutral, but still very good.

Therefore, if you like the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250, you might also like the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohm and the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x studio headphones. The foam pads/cushions are still good, good isolation even after all this time. Isolation for vocal booth/livestreaming/podcast is also great on these. I think about 80% of youtube/twitch streamers use the DT-770. It's very popular. Thanks to the STELLAR.45 driver, The PRO X range are going to sound excellent in the Studio, plugged into an interface or amplifier – but you can also use them on the go if you plug them into a laptop or a smartphone as they are going to turn up very loud. In general, our DT 770 PRO, DT 700 PRO X and DT 990 PRO, DT 900 PRO X studio headphones are suitable for streamers and can be used for gaming accordingly. You will also need an amp or audio interface to better experience the power of the Beyerdynamic DT 770. Personally, I think the sound signature of the 880s is so different from the Amirons and the 770s that I would hesitate to compare them. However, I am sure that some people would identify some traits in the sound of the 770s and 880s as being similar and that the Amirons are the more different headphone of the three, but I am describing my subjective experience here and am not trying to be objective. By any measure, the 770 Pro 80s are very comfortable, good sounding headphones that represent very decent value for money. For (live) mixing in loud environments, closed headphones are usually used. From our portfolio, the DT 770 M, the DT 770 PRO, the DT 700 PRO X and the DT 1770 PRO are suitable.Headphones and IEMs require a certain level of power to sound their best and work at their full potential. When your headphones or IEMs are underpowered, they can sound thin or muffled. I use the RME Babyface Pro Fs, more than enough gain. But on my samsung phone max volume is about 70%-80% of what I would prefer as ideal. It's okay, not bad, but I'd recommend an headphone preamp if you want to drive the 250ohm version just from phone. For decades our PRO headphones have been the reference for professional sound in recording studios all over the world. That leaves only one question: Which headphones are the right ones for you?

I do not prefer very loud sounds. If the earphone is damaged, I get a new one. But my ears should always use them well with me and I must always protect. Low tones are really tight and clear. There is no mud, it extremely clean. Own stays in its place and does not overshadow other sounds. After a bit of EQ I got them to sound more natural and a bit more neutral. The 770s have a bit of a fame for strident highs. While I don't exactly agree that it is overbearing, the higher frequencies did indeed carry an extra power, which is something I don't have a particular taste for. After running some tests, I EQed them to taste by raising the lower frequencies by just a bit, as well as lowering the higher frequencies. Just a touch of gain adding and reduction here and there, and after that, they were good to go for me.For decades now, professional users all around the world have placed their trust in our classic range: DT 770/880/990 PRO. These benchmark-setting studio headphones, available in three different models, boast extremely detailed resolution and very transparent sound. The highly optimized 32 ohms variant is used for regular casual listening over laptops and smartphones. I've been looking for a set of studio cans for a while, and have always heard amazing things about the 770s, 880s, and 990s. Initially I was having a hard time figuring out which one of those would be best for me. I wanted a pair of headphones that I could simultaneously record with (meaning, with minimal spill), and that I could mix and master with.
